Description: 2-sided confidential information sheet filled out and signed by character actor Lyle Bettger (1915- 2003). His response was to be used for a book called "Where Are They Now?" about movie stars from yesteryear. This survey sheet was not something made up by a collector so the answers Mr. Bettger provides are much more detailed, personal, and honest. During his career Bettger appeared in films alongside such major stars as John Wayne, Lana Turner, Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Alan Ladd, Jane Russell, Steve McQueen, Barbara Stanwyck, William Holden, and Maureen O' Sullivan, along with countless others. He often portrayed villains. One such role was as the wrathfully jealous elephant handler Klaus from the Oscar-winning film "The Greatest Show On Earth". There is a staple in the upper right corner where 3.5"x 3.5" inch promo sheet was once attached and has now come loose. This small sheet is included along with a C.O.A. from Todd Mueller Autographs. A real behind-the-scenes look at the movie business. It doesn't seem like Mr. Bettger missed the profession once he retired. Beautiful dark black signiture and postscript at the bottom of the second page. All writing is in his hand. This is a one-of-a-kind look at the motion picture industry.
