Description: This listing is for a Hand woven / Hand made Kids Rug Carpet with designs of Farm Animals , Sheep , Pigs, Chickens and chicks, flowers, ducks in marsh, with an off white / Ivory Ground . They are flat woven / tapestry method and are called durrie ( or dhurrie ) . Wool weave on cotton foundation. Approximate size is 3 feet by 5 feet. Fringed on the two ends ( approximately 3 inches additional length on each end), and sides have been hand salvaged. Vintage Old New Stock. They last decades if not more and do really wear and tear good. They are not only add character to any space , they trap dirt well and are so very easy to give up the dirt they trap through a simple vacuuming of each side, which in turn contributes to a healthier environment while serving as a rug.
