Description: Excellent Griswold No. 9, P/N 710, Small Block Logo, cast iron skillet. Made in Erie, Pennsylvania by the Griswold Manufacturing Company from 1939-1957. CONDITION: Skillet is in very good vintage condition. Skillet practically sits flat but has a subtle click/wobble at the 5 o'clock position corrected by less than an index card on a granite countertop. Cooking surface is smooth but has some light wear from use, and one pit noted in the center, this will quickly fill in with with seasoning with further use. Lines on logo are crisp and clear. Skillet does not spin, has no cracks, rust, or repairs. Please see photos as part of description. ~Disclaimer: All vintage and antique cast iron typically shows some signs of wear including light utensil marks, discoloration, and minor pitting. I always do my best accurately picture and describe each piece so you can buy with confidence. RESTORATION: This vintage piece of cast iron has been carefully cleaned to bare iron using a combination of electrolysis, lye, and vinegar. It has been seasoned with 3 layers of grape seed oil at 450 degrees for a deep, beautiful, patina finish.
