Description: This wonderful ashtray was designed by Josef Ekberg for Gustavsberg probably in the 1920s. It has a beautiful satiny crackled iridescent glaze on the top along with gold highlights on the top of both ashtray rims. The best way I can describe the color is teal though there is room for debate on that. There is a gold floral design in the center. The bottom is marked "GUSTAVSBERG" in gold along with an anchor and a mark representing Josef Eckberg. It is also marked "35" and N-80". It is just over 7 1/4" in diameter and about 1 1/2" in height. It is in excellent vintage condition.
