The World Scout Bureau cancelled the Jamboree (only second time this has ever happened - WWII - 1941 - was the first) because they could not guarantee the safety of the Scouts. Quickly they scrambled and Sweden said they could host and the Dalajamb 1979 was created. All though this function is not actually counted as an official World Scout Jamboree, it was a "World Jamboree". A very small handful of Iran 1979 World Jamboree patches were made.
