Description: The thing that sets our bowls apart is the FINISH. It's not a "dull wood" finish. We have a special bees wax aging finish that we apply to all of our bowls. It takes an already distressed bowl and makes it look OLD and WARM and very primitive. And it STAYS that way for the life of the bowl. It is smooth to the touch and it is beautiful. We do these little heart-shaped bowls exactly like our full sized dough bowls. They're just smaller! (and of course they're shaped like a heart). Perfect (and useful!) for any number of things. Some people use them to add a special touch to that special gift. Others turn them into wonderful little candle holders (I've seen them take aquarium crystals and sink tea candles into them. They make great little candy dishes. Just about anything you can dream up! There WILL be slight surface splits, small cracks and carving marks in the wood. We also leave the primitive rasp marks in the wood. We simply apply our special bees wax formula.........allow it to dry......and then buff it all out to the beautiful aged look you see! NO two are ever exactly alike. The one you SEE is the exact one you will RECEIVE. It measures 6 5/8 inches long, 6" wide and 1 7/8" tall
