Description: A vintage 1940s 50's hand made Swedish Santa Claus figurine found in a vintage Swedish store. Art deco to early Mid-century period figurine of the old man with nicely done face with natural fibers and cotton used for the hair and beard as they are a bit desintegrated but still creating that charming look.. For the hands is used clothed wire which was very popular in the early 20 century for Christmas ornaments and decorations. They are made of formed paper, nailed to the large pine cone. The figurine with hat is approximately 23cm tall. An expressive vintage Santa Claus figurine from the Scandinavian north not to miss!
