These were thrown in Braverman's New Jersey atelier, on consignment to my wife and me. My wife and I are serious about our cooking and our table. About to get married, we wanted something glorious for our dinner table. When we saw Max's pottery we knew we'd found it. With Max's help, we designed a full set of dinnerware and serving dishes. Platters, plates, a smaller soup tureen, a giant casserole. If we could imagine it, Max was eager to make it. Even a footed serving dish for the dumplings we always brought home from our favorite restaurant. Alas, too many pieces have been lost to time and slippery hands. But we still have the best of the lot. This covered tureen is among the best of the best and it deserves a good home.
