Description: BEAUTIFUL HANDMADE BRASS BELL, with etched leaves pattern, from India. Used thus: this bell was a gift from a (late) friend who had traveled in India. I did not use it, but only displayed it on my office bookcase shelf. In being stored for a move, it lost its clapper--which I replaced with a wire and bolt and achieved its original charming ting-a-ling tone. NB: I know little about bells and the information provided herein is in some cases my best guess. Even so, the bell is beautiful and has a wonderful tinkle. You will not be disappointed.
