All of the postcards in this collection are addressed to "Harry Grobel" of Vienna, Austria. Apparently Mr. Grobel had access to many military commanders of that era, and was able to accumulate a significant collection of hand-signed autographs. The postcards in this collection are in extraordinary condition. Very well preserved. Many have postal cancels from Feldpost, the German Military mail service. Autographed pieces for many of these military figures are extremely hard to find, especially when included with a photo of the figure. Some, simply can't be found. Amazing piece of WWI history.
