Description: This model H-01-46 Harrison heater has been completely disassembled, bead blasted, and painted. The coil has been cleaned, pressure checked, and painted. The motor has been disassembled, clean and lubed, and new motor wire installed and painted. This is the original 6-volt motor. If you want to run this heater on 12 volts you will need to purchase a resistor for each motor which cost about $18. Speedway Motors sells this resistor their part number is 910-64102. Back in the 30s, 40s,and 50s the normal pressure on a vehicle radiator system was less than 12 psi. These heater coils have been pressure checked at 15 psi. Many cars of today run with 16 psi and higher radiator pressure caps. I suggest you make sure your radiator cap is no more than 12 psi. These heater coils were not designed to operate at any high pressure than this. Before WWII is heater was a model H-172. This model of heater was used in 1941 through 1949 Chevrolet cars and trucks.
