Description: Near fine hardcover book, fourth printing of the first U.S. edition, in near fine unclipped dust jacket showing original retail price of 16.95. No markings, book plates, or other signals of previous ownership found inside the book. The binding remains secure, though upon inspection the front board leans out a bit past the back board. Light wrinkles and crimps are seen along the head of the jacket, and small pink ink stains appear on the underside of the jacket at and near the foot of the spine. The jacket remains in wonderfully presentable condition with no tears, chips, or creases. The jacket of this printing resembles that of the first U.S. printing in many respects, though importantly, the quotation on the rear panel is different. There is a bit of rubbing along the foot of the book's boards, some faint light spots in the cloth near the head of the spine, and a few small bits of what appears to be printer's glue along the seam between the cloth and the paper coating on the front board.
