The hotel staff abruptly takes off except the hotel manager- who makes excuses to the terrible things about to occur. A snake in one of the guest's bed; diminished water and food supply, no main road to civilization and no communication to anyone outside the island. The vacationers now desperately want to leave the deserted resort and as each bleak day goes on, they begin to share their deeply troubled personal lives.
