Description: HAWORTH Pottery West Yorkshire England Teapot Signed Studio Art Pottery. Very rare, and unique teapot from the Haworth Pottery, West Yorkshire, England. "The Haworth Pottery was established by Anne Shaw in 1971 in Haworth, West Yorkshire, England. The pottery was initially supported by a loan from the Council for Small Industries in Rural Areas. Shaw trained under Beresford Peeling of Harnham Mill Pottery at Southampton College of Art (now Southampton Solent University) on the professional potters' course." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haworth_Pottery The teapot is 5" tall. 7-5/8" in length from the front of the teapot to the back of the handle. 6-7/8" wide. Top edge is 3.25" in diameter. Weighs 2lbs 7oz. As can be seen in the last pictures, there is a crack that starts at the base of the handle and migrates to the bottom. This teapot should be used for decoration only, unless the buyer has the teapot repaired to be functional.
