Description: This is a rare reamer measure combo made by Hazel Atlas in the 1920s. It is N-129 in Mary Walker's book. Hazel Atlas developed a line of glassware called "Ovid Pattern". The Florence book on Hazel Atlas lists this design as "Black Floral". Hazel Atlas called the glass it is made of "Platonite" which has an opalescent quality. The measure holds two cups with one side denoting ounces and the other side divided into 1/3 cups. The measure has a diameter of just over 4 3/4" and is just under 4" tall. The reamer portion is just shy of 5" in diameter. Condition: The reamer portion is in excellent condition with no chips, dings, or cracks. The cone is very smooth with only a very tiny bit of roughness on one of the ridges - I think it could argue it came from the factory that way. The measure portion has a couple of very minimal flea bits or roughness to either side of the spout. It also left the factory with a very minimal 1/4 inch mark on its side - I have it pictured and it can be seen in the video as well. It not common to find both of the original pieces of the is combination still together and in such great condition. Please get in touch with me if you have any questions.
