Hibiscus of this type are hybrids with larger more complex flowers with multiple colors. They require more care and attention than the tougher (but more ordinary) landscape types. It is an unregistered hybrid of unknown parentage. It produces large 6 to 7 inch classic recurving single flowers with long stamens in beautiful shades of soft gray blue, pink and white. The bush is sturdy, resilient and grows well on it's own roots. Fancy Exotic type hibiscus are generally best grown as potted plants. Select a location with cool morning light and light shade in the afternoon. Protect from extreme heat and temps below freezing.
