Herreshoff America Catboat Sailboat

Description: With regrets, I am selling my restored 1973 Herreshoff America Catboat. The sailboat was restored back to her former elegance over a 10 year period. All teak was removed and restored. A new 6 hp mercury outboard was installed with less than 10 hours runtime. New cabin and cockpit cushions were made. All bronze hardware was removed and polished. In addition, the boat has the original oil brass navigation lanterns with red and green lenses.The first and second pictures are of an identical sister boat in Seattle. I duplicated the color scheme on my boat. This is truly a special boat which always draws a crowd.The only reason I am selling the boat is I have macular degeneration, which has progressed over the last seven years. After testing twice under power, I decided I should discontinue sailing for safety reasons.I will not respond to messages asking if the boat is still available. I will remove the ad once it is sold.
