Be aware of belt buckles and spurs when mounting and dismounting. * Always use a clean saddle pad between your horse and the saddle to keep the fleece sweat-free. * Keep the saddle protected (covered with a large towel is fine) while not in use. * Never oil or clean the saddle unless you're ready to give it its forever home.
