Drawing on many sources including letters from survivors, the account attempts to dispel the rumors of cannibalism which persist to the current time. Condition is Good-: front cover has mostly come off and has been taped along the inside hinge; back cover is missing; title written in ink along spine; cover has edge chips and small tears, corner wear and tape stains; first couple pages have minor edge wear and some smudging, otherwise clean throughout.
