Description: I stumbled upon this delightful vintage hot air balloon print "Ascension du Sieur Adorne a la Citadelle de Strasbourg 1784" (Made in England 1991) at an upscale estate auction - it's a fabulous print that is matted. With the matte, this measures 10x12". Great colors and very good condition. Lovely. The print is one of a set of illustrations for a book titled "Balloons" by the Ariel Press, 1956, England. Bottom inscription on the print is: Ascension du Sieur Adorne a la Citadelle de Strasbourg 1784 At the bottom edge it reads: Ariel Press 1991.
