Like the listing title says, straight out of the 70's we have this here How To Develop Courage and Self Confidence By Hugh R High. Yep, what we have here is a hidden bar set, inside of a fake book, called "How To Develop Courage and Self Confidence, authored by...pardon the pun...Hugh R High! Like I said, straight out of the 70's where for just a minute back then, seems like hiding the liquor might be the thing to do.. This here fake book measures approximately 9-3/4" tall, 5-3/4" in width and 2-1/8" in thickness, and utilizes a snap closure to hold the book shut. Inside, strapped in so they don't fly around when you're enroute to your drinking location, there is a glass flask, and two stainless steel shot glasses (I believe they're stainless steel but am not 100% positive). The flask is made out of glass, and measures approximately 7-3/4" tall, 4-3/4" in width, and 1-1/2" thick in it's leather cover (I believe it's leather but am not 100% sure) that snaps on. Shot glasses measure approximately 2-3/8" tall, 1-3/4" in diameter at the top of the glass, tapering to 1-1/2" at the bottom of the glass. Using the Pyrex in my kitchen, these shot glasses hold approximately oz of liquid in them. The shot glasses utilize leather (again, I believe they are leather, but am not 100% positive) straps that hold them in place inside the book, and the flask utilizes the top part of the leather cover that snaps down onto it, and the leather cover itself to hold the flask in place in the book. Now, I'm no vintage fake flask and shot glass book grader by any means, so prior to purchasing this novel of higher education, please carefully review all listing pictures as they are the description and the condition of the actual item(s) you are buying. That said, this book is in decent shape with no damage to speak of that I can see. Pretty cool looking, and again, a weird time if we we were trying to hide this stuff from most people.
