Hoyas have thick and waxy leaves, meaning they have similar care to succulents, and are known as 'Wax Plants'. Hoyas are known for their fragrant blooms, but also vibrant leaves. Hoyas thrive in bright, indirect light. They can be kept inside year-round, or outside when temps are above 40/45 degrees at the coldest part of the night. To care for these plants, water when the soil is dry. Humidifiers and grow lights work great with hoyas, but are not a requirement. The brighter the indirect light is, the more colorful and sun-stressed your hoya's leaves will be! Hoya Carnosa 'Krimson Queen' displays leaves that are green with yellow/cream edges, and pops of pink. When the plant gets sun-stressed, the plant displays more pink tones. This plant can be grown upwards with trellises or cascade downwards to let the leaves hang. -This plant is greenhouse-grown in San Diego. This means that it was grown with covered and filtered light. This succulent will thrive best in a bright-lit location, out of direct harsh sun. This plant can be kept inside as a houseplant, kept in a well-lit location. HOW IT SHIPS: This plant is shipped in it's plastic growing pot with soil, with the plastic hanger clipped off. We carefully wrap the plant in protective wrapping for safe transit! Simply snap the hanger back on to the edge of the pot when you receive your plant for easy hanging. -We currently ship with USPS & FedEx.
