PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND AS YOU READ THE REST OF THIS DESCRIPTION. I am the original owner of this scanner. I paid over $1,000.00 for it (when the dollar was worth considerably more than it is today). I never used it. Except for the box being opened, everything** remains wrapped in their original, unopened plastic enclosures. Physically, everything is in like-new condition. Electronically, I can't say whether or not the scanner functions properly. And I don't want to unwrap anything to find out. That way, you can be sure that this scanner has never been used. **The circuit board was not "sealed". It came in a plastic pouch. And the power cord was not sealed at all. The original box (which is in very good condition) and the original styrafoam are included. Made in the USA. I NEVER make money on shipping/postage fees. And I ALWAYS refund all shipping/postage fees in excess of the actual cost. I have to protect myself. As such, and when I price out the postage, I use a California zip code. It's the farthest postage zone from my Florida home. As such, the $175.00 postage fee is probably cheaper for you if you live closer to where I live.
