It Depicts a Beautiful Black Americana Childrens Portrait from an American Genre Illustration Painting. This was done in Beautiful Meticulous Details from an Earlier Time Period and came from the Estate of Leonard Barkin who was also an Artist. This Painting and its subject is Important & a Rare subject from the era of the Black Children both holding toys of great Illustration from the time period. It has a Landscape in the surrounds of the Painting with nice architectural details of the house with Floral Foliage as well. From the propeller cap to playing with a toy known as the yoyo shows the children at play and was brilliantly done. It is still on its original stretcher with naturally aged patina and tacked with nails. There is some frame rubbing and flaking at the lower left corner. The Painting is illegibly Signed at the upper left corner & possibly Titled at the lower right with natural and heavy craquelure throughout. It has Vibrant Color Tones that were Well Blended which Gives Great Depth & Dimension to the Details. This comes from a Private Collection which makes it very Rare Due to its Size, Age & Beauty.
