Description: Set of five handled cream soup bowls and saucers by Hutschenreuther of Hohenberg, Bavaria, Germany. Beautiful little cream color bowls and saucers with gold trim and deep blue feather-like leaves.Bowls measure 4 3/4" diameter (6" handle to handle) and 2" tall, saucers are 5 5/8" in diameter. The saucers are marked C M for Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther, the founder who established the porcelain factory in Hohenberg in 1814,and the dates 1814 / 1939. They are also marked Germany U.S. Zone, andIngeborg. The cups have the same backstamp, but not Ingeborg.Not sure if the "Ingeborg" name refers to the shape of the plate or the pattern.All pieces are in very good to excellent condition. No chips, cracks, orcrazing that I can see. Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage item. These items are previously owned and used and will rarely be in perfect condition.
