Description: Chaco is the third studio album by Argentine duo Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, released in 1995 by Gigoló Productions. It was produced by Mariano López y Machi, the former bassist of Invisible. The disc includes sixteen songs that were mastered in New York by Ted Jensen (a regular collaborator of Madonna). Accompanied by Fernando Samalea (drums), Gustavo Spinetta (percussion), Gabriel Albizuri (guitar) and Fernando Nale (bass), the musicians presented the cut "Abarajame".The album was a big success and since its inception it has sold close to 250,000 copies. In 2007, Rolling Stone magazine in Argentina ranked it 38th on its list of the 100 best Argentine rock albums ever.They were recognized as Best Group, Best Album and Best Video ("Abarajame") by all the polls of the year.
