The length of the Irwin wire stripper's core strip can be controlled by using the adjustable stopper. The ProTouch grip allows for comfortable use without sacrificing power. The Irwin Self Adjusting Wire Stripper's wire cutter gives it additional versatility. Its wire crimper works with insulated wires of 10-22 AWG, non-insulated wires of 10-22 AWG and ignition terminals of seven to nine millimeters. For gauges less than 20 AWG, the Vise-Grip wire stripper has a swivel knob that micro-adjusts.
