Description: Here we have an unsmoked Jake Hackert pipe from 2011. Totally NOS / Mint / unsmoked condition. This pipe has been stored properly with no oxidation. The vulcanite saddlebit remains that pure inky black color everyone loves. This has Jake’s fine rustication that feels almost like a sandblast. It’s from the glory days of the hackert / Boswell / Balkovec trifecta that blessed the great state of PA and internet pipe smoking. Back in that time 2009 to 2015 or so pipes from those makers almost couldn’t be had unless you picked them off carefully. Very cool piece, and to be unsmoked makes it an even cooler gem to have. As Jake says “these pipes come about as close as you can to being handmade”. This item will ship in its original pipe sock (the kind Jake used to ship all his pipes in back in those days.) see pictures for best description. Nice little sitter that’s great to collect and even better to take on its maiden smoking voyage.
