Description: Aesthetic Antique Silver James Dixon & Sons Silver Plate Teapot Gourd Shape w Ivy A very pretty late 19th century or early 20th century teapot by James Dixon and Sons, Sheffield, England. Measures 9 inches from handle to spout. Height is 7.75 inches. Beautiful footed design featuring ivy leaves and vine on feet, handle, spout as well as on top rim. The finial to attached lid is a melon or nut. Does have an attached leaf sprig that goes into hole. It is loose but could be secured with the right nut. The opposite side has a tiny hole.
