This edition of the Rocky Mountain News commemorates the day that Jared Polis won the Democratic nomination for Congress from Colorado's 2nd Congressional District, all but assuring him victory in November of 2008. He won that next election and went on to serve in Congress for ten years, before being elected as Colorado's Governor. This past November, he won re-election as CO Governor. I worked on his 2008, 2014, & 2018 campaigns. Then-Congressman-elect Polis and his partner Marlon Reis signed this newspaper for me. I also have the Denver Post article signed and am working to downsize my collection, so I'm offering this piece for sale. It's in excellent condition. See photos.
