Description: This is a reissue/reproduction of Jerry Demar’s 1957 Ford Records rockabilly single, “(She Wantsa) Lover Man”/“Cross-Eyed Alley Cat”. One side was written by Lee Hazelwood while the flip side was penned by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. This is the first of only three singles that Jerry Demar recorded. The other two were issued in 1960. Original copies in really nice shape command over $100. This 1957 recording is identified as a reissue by the “issued 1975” notation in the dead wax. The condition is very good plus (VG+). The label on the “Alley Cat” side appears to have been damaged at the time of pressing (see photo). This copy comes from the collection of a longtime collector who has recently passed.
