Description: Up for bid is a fluorescent color changing Calcite from San Vicente, Mexico. This material is similar to the famous Calcite from Terlingua Texas. Under SW UV this fluoresces Blue (First Picture) and Under LW it fluoresces Pink (Second Picture) and it is also very phosphorescent. Many specimens from this location were etched in acid to remove surface crust. However this specimen is completely natural with NO acid cleaning. Rich specimen like this are getting harder to find, and natural specimens like this are rarer still.
