Hand crafted near Manzanillo, Jalisco, Mexico ... this 4 3/4 inch (12 cm) 2 1/4 oz (63 gram) topwater lure casts unlike any other in its size and works on many species caught from shore (Roosterfish, Jacks, Trevallies, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Redfish, Snook), around reefs and rocky shorelines (Pargo, Snapper, Grouper) and even offshore (Tuna, Dorado (Mahi, Dolphinfish). I'm real excited about this lure. It is not a floating lure ... once you cast it out start ripping it to keep it along the surface. What I like to do is give it a rip or two, let it sink for a second and rip it again. This works well for all Jacks, Trevallies and Roosterfish, as well as in schools of Tuna. Using a steady medium to fast retrieve, or perhaps using small twitches, works well as well, especially over top of reef or rocks ... you'll be surprised what comes up from the depths to nail it. The GT (Ulua,Giant Trevally) pictured here I caught recently in Fiji. Heavy duty construction, brilliant finishes, 2/0 VMC treble hooks. You will have fun with this lure.
