The letter is dated Nov. 7th, 1832, and is addressed to then Governor Samuel Southard of New Jersey. The document in good shape for age, and has a small tear in the upper left corner on the reverse side (cannot see from letter side). There are minor tears on the sides of the letter, as well as a couple of watermarks from age. This letter was handed down to me from a relative who purchased it from a collector. The document does not have a COA, but will be certain to pass any third party authentication service. The letter will be well packed and guaranteed signature upon delivery, no exceptions.
