The conclusion 'A New Name ' was shortlisted for the 2022 International Booker Prize; the first part of the series, 'The Other Name ' was longlisted for the 2020 Prize. ** After years of being mentioned as a strong candidate, on 5 October 2023, Mr Fosse was named as the Winner of the 2023 Nobel Prize for Literature. He is the 4th Norwegian to have won the prize but the first for almost a century, since Sigrid Undset won in 1928. ** 'Septology ', published on 2 November 2022 by Fitzcarraldo Editions, London, 1st edition / 1st printing thus (the individual parts were published between 2019 & 2021), large modern paperback original, 825 pages. Translated from the Norwegian by Damion Searls. Internally in As New unread condition. Externally in near fine condition, paperback bound in the usual blue wrappers with white lettering that is associated with all fiction titles released by this publisher. I ordered this copy from a Swedish bookshop, light rubbing to edges and corners, small bump to the head of the spine, short thin crease line from production process to the spine.
