Description: Jonas Salk [1914 1995] was an American medical researcher and virologist who discovered and developed one of the first successful polio vaccine. Listed for auction is a [TLS] typed letter signed by Jonas Salk on the letterhead of The Salk Institute for Biological Studies. The letter is dated 28 January 1975 and is a thank you response and is signed ''Jonas Salk'' in black felt pen above his typed name. The letter measures 8.00 x 10.50 inches, other than trivial toning it is in fine condition and will be accompanied with its original transmittal envelope.
