Description: FROM MY PRIVATE COLLECTION, I am selling the MOST RARE JUNGHANS BRAILLE Clock there is, Full functioning, Vintage, made in the mid 1950s, FULLY RESTORED, running PERFECTLY ON TIME, in a FANTASTIC, Restored Cosmetic and PERFEFCT Functioning, SERVICED condition, offered with a ONE YEAR GUARANTEE!!!I know that the price is high, but this is THE LAST Junghans Braille Clock on the planet, in this Condition!!Don't confuse this clock with "normal" alarm clocks; This one is SO SPECIAL.VERY Special is the sound of the alarm AND the way the alarm goes off.The alarm has an START UP Function, meaning that it gives a rattling sound during the first seconds, and only after that, the bell sound starts.During the initial rattling sound, you have the time to shut the alarm off, pushing the black knob on top of the clock.The bell has a CRYSTAL CLEAR Sound.Please see the YouTube video for a demonstration of the sound.This clock has a SERVICED movement and has been completely taken apart, cleaned and polished in- AND outside, finding itself in a FANTASTIC Cosmetic and PERFECT Mechanical Condition!The front and rear cover of the clock has be COATED with an INDUSTRIAL COATING, in MATT BLACK, bacause they were in a terrible shape before the restauration.I must say, I am very happy with the result.Please see photo 7 for the work involved.This clock has a full metal body in Black / Green and is fully made of Metal.Special are the BRAILLE FEATURES on this clock, specially designed for blind and visually Impaired people!!!The dial is clearly "READABLE", even for people which have a normal vision; the dots on the surface tell you the time, using 3 dots on the 12 o'clock position as a starting point.The alarm, at the back of the clock, works in the same way; the alarm setting time is positioned with an extra piece of metal, sticking out.Note the hour hand, pointing out the time, which can be recognized by a GRID on it.The super rare nature of this clock, as well as the condition, make this specimen a ONE OF A KIND!!!Of course there is no GLASS window in front of the dial.The clock looks brilliant, except for some tiny pieces of missing original, green paint and performs like it just left the shop only yesterday.....Note that the case is not a cheap plastic one, but is FULLY made of METAL.The SHINING METAL Winding handles and Setting knobs are 100% authentic and find themselves in a GORGEOUS Condition.The movement runs absolutely great and PERFECTLY ON TIME.Nothing has been left to make this a HIGH QUALITY clock; the clock is HEAVY for its size.You find the makers name "JUNGHANS", STAMPED on the dial, also "readable" in braille!!Underneath the clock, there is the model number on a label -> 000868.At the rear, there are 2 SHINING STEEL winding handles; one for the movement (to keep time), and one for the Alarm.There is also a STEEL knob on top of the clock in matt black, to deactivate / silence the alarm, placed in a shining METAL holder.Every detail has been thought about when designing this timepiece.This clock runs ON TIME!!This clock is not new and minor visual defects are quite regular.Used products have signs of use.Please judge the quality by taking a good look at all the photos and the YouTube video mentioned at the top of this listing.FREE worldwide shipping !If you have any questions please feel free to email me.Dimensions:Weight: 349 grams!!!Height: 4.1 Inch -> 10.4 cmDiameter: 3.7 Inch -> 9.5 cmDepth: 2.6 Inch -> 6.5 cmCombined shipping is possible!
