Description: This is a beautiful Schneider & Kunz doll made out of resin. Resin has such a warm glow to it. It can break, see pinky finger on right hand, but still it is hardier and lovelier than porcelain. The doll is in excellent used condition except for the finger. The break is easy to hide when posing her, but of course, depends on what is important for the buyer. She came to me with the broken finger, so I don't know how it broke. She is called "Baby Me" and is #48 in the edition, 2003, see back of neck. I just love her happy face, the sweetest smile. Apparently the hair is glued, but it has the appearance of being rooted. it is so soft, can be very gently combed, just lovely. She has on this darling elephant outfit, totally adorable. I have had her sitting in this vintage high chair, not included, just the doll and and what she is wearing in the photo. The thick booties protect her little feet well. She is also a heavy girl, 24", like an older baby. She is a beautiful chunk of cuddliness.
