Description: KPM Berlin Hand Painted Floral Cobalt & Gold Border 8 1/4 Inch Plate Circa 1840s A Nice antique German porcelain plate. Decorated with a hand painted border with cobalt blue and gold bands and flowers in pink, white, purple, orange, yellow, and blue in gold scrollwork cartouches. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom Konenigliche Porzellan Manufactur in blue. This mark was used by KPM Berlin between 1847 and 1849. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
