Description: A Rear Brake Pump Glass Window Repair Kit with aprecisely fitting 1.5mm thick Safety Glass and a brake fluid resistant EDPM O-ring. This transparent Glass Window allows a better view of the brake fluid level, color and condition than the original plastic one. It is easy to fit it by yourself if you follow the following detailed fitting instructions. This brake pump can reach temperatures exceeding 120C due to the nearby exhaust. To fit the Glass Window Kit you need a High Temperature Elastic Gasket Sealant, or a JP Weld, or a similar "Liquid Metal Weld" High Temperature resistant epoxy glue. This kit comes with 4 UVA resistant KTM INVENTIONS 1510cm vinyl stickers. You can order your stickers with the colour combination you prefer out of the three shown in the picture. Please follow our Facebook page "Alex Farmers KTM INVENTIONS". --------------------------------------------- GLASS WINDOW FITTING INSTRUCTIONS IN ENGLISH, GREEK, ITALIAN AND JAPANESE : Remove the Pump and lay it flat on a table. Use the two 8mm bolts as adjusters to stabilize and level the Pump as in the pictures. Clean the two grooves with a cotton bud and alcohol. Place the O-ring in the groove. Use the tip of a tea-spoon as spatula to spread a tiny amount of a High Temperature Elastic Gasket Sealant on the two grooves and over the O-ring. Use a toothpick to remove the excess sealant that might run inside the pump. Use a tweezer to position the Glass Window centered over the O-ring and press it VERY gently with your finger. If you press too much, the O-ring pops out of the groove and you have to remove everything, clean with alcohol and start the process again. Use a socket extension as a weight. Balance it vertically on the Glass as you see in the picture. Use the two 8mm bolts as adjusters to make the pump perfectly level and steady for the weight to balance undisturbed on the Glass until the glue sets, for a minimum of 8 hours, before you fill the pump with brake fluid. ---------------------------------------------- : . 8mm , . . A O-ring, . . 8mm , , 8 . ================================ KIT DI RIPARAZIONE DEL VETRO DELLA POMPA DEL FRENO POSTERIORE ISTRUZIONI DI MONTAGGIO: Rimuovere la pompa e appoggiarla su un tavolo. Utilizzare i due bulloni da 8 mm come regolatori per stabilizzare e livellare la pompa come mostrato nelle immagini. Pulire le due scanalature con un batuffolo di cotone e alcol. Posizionare l'O-ring nella scanalatura. Utilizzare la punta di un cucchiaino da t come spatola per distribuire una piccola quantit di sigillante per guarnizioni in silicone ad alta temperatura sulle due scanalature e sull'O-ring. Utilizzare uno stuzzicadenti per rimuovere il sigillante in eccesso che potrebbe colare all'interno della pompa. Utilizzare una pinzetta per posizionare il vetro al centro dell'O-ring e premerlo MOLTO DELICATAMENTE con il dito. Se si preme troppo, l'O-ring salta fuori dalla scanalatura e si deve rimuovere tutto, pulire con alcol e ricominciare il processo. Utilizzare una prolunga per presa come peso. Bilancialo verticalmente sulla finestra di vetro come vedi nell'immagine.
