Both Cloisonné and Silver Plated Enameling are rendered on copper bases; but during silver plating enameling the object is first silver plated before enameling. The silver then shines thru the translucent enamel creating a brilliant shine. Even more brilliance is added with the use of Austrian crystals that embellish these trinket boxes to give them extra depth of color and sparkle; and they all come in their own gift box!
