Description: Labor and Industrial Relations: Terms, Laws, Court Decisions, and Arbitration Standards, a classic by Matthew A. Kelly ISBN 0-8018-3310-8 This is a unicorn, a hardcover, first edition of this bible of labor relations, written by one of my professors, Matthew A. Kelly He was the hardest professor I had getting my degree, but I got more out of his class, and this his classic book, than any other class. He taught his last class to us and showed up even though he was very ill. I have many copies of this book in paperback, which I can sell, because I’d bought up all the ones on the web for my students, years later when I came to teach my own classes in labor law, history and collective bargaining. This copy has a library label on the spine, I don’t believe it ever was published with a dust jacket, there is no dust jacket here. Cloth boards in very good second hand condition. Strong spine, no markings or writings except for some fool librarian stamped it ‘discarded’- see photos, so that this fantastic tool for teaching could come to me. Ready to let it go- to you, to learn the vocabulary, the language you need to speak that will make you look like an experienced practitioner. If you’ve read this far you know how special is this book to everyone practicing labor law. Since it’s hardcover, it will stand up to the constant use you’ll have of it in your library.
