Description: I believe this is a vintage reproduction of a Laguiole folding pocket knife. It is extremely unique and rare. Handle is crafted with Brazilian Rosewood and Cow Horn and displays the iconic Shepherd cross embedded in the Horn material. The back of the handle has a very unique flowing vine with leaves that graduate up to the famous Laguiole Bee at the top of the hinge. This is a larger size folding pocket knife measuring: 5 7/8” when closed and has a 4 7/8” blade. It measures 8 3/4” when fully opened. The blade is thoroughly honed and tempered and displays the eye-catching etched design on the top back spine. The knife has never been used, but has some aged imperfections ( please see pictures).
