Lane ? hexagonal Walnut end side table, brass top, manner of Harvey Probber

Description: Outstanding hexagonal side table with an inlaid brass top and practical amount of storage. Believe this was produced by Lane Furniture in the 1970's, however it is unmarked other than a few stenciled numbers on the bottom. Quality craftsmanship and timeless design. Solid condition, has some light signs of age and patina. Direct from a local estate being sold as found. Good original condition overall. No chips, no cracks, no repairs. Brass top is showing age, patinated, cup rings and signs of use (unpolished). Structurally solid, no wobble or play. Doors open and close nicely, solid hinges, smooth action. The doors are just slightly askew, very mild separation at bottom of door opening-not a big issue but thought it should be mentioned. The wood finish is quite nice for its age, even and clean in general but there are some scuffs, scratches (including lower side of right door), small edge bruises and expected signs of age. No peeling, no water damage, no staining. Interior is rather clean with no glaring issues, saw light use only.
