Large 12", IDEAL Dwarf, DOPEY doll, Disney c1937, from Snow White & Seven Dwarfs

Description: Here is our wonderful original, antique c1930s, all cloth, IDEAL "DOPEY" dwarf doll from the set of Disney's, SEVEN DWARFS & SNOW-WHITE dolls. This charming articulated, hard stuffed doll figure has beautiful facial features uniquely designed to emphasize his character with vivid color and wears all his original, velveteen and cloth outfit including his "name" Dopey, velveteen hat and belt with metal buckle and rare miner's lantern. He measures about 12" tall with huge cloth ears and painted side-glancing eyes, open/closed smiling mouth with teeth, cheek blush and flat feet to stand. He is in excellent, clean condition with no holes or repairs, no fading and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. Various manufacturers produced their own versions of this very sought-after set to coincide with the Disney release of the movie on December 21, 1937.
