Description: This is a very beautiful handmade nickel silver Gau, prayer box, with a small terracotta statue of Vajrasattva inside and a silk brocade carrying case. I bought this in Kathmandu, about fifteen years ago, and it has the eight sacred Astha Manghala symbols of Mahayana Buddhism. It measures 7" by 6" by 2" deep, and since I think my last visit to Nepal five years ago was my 44th visit and last, once these are gone I will not have any more. Namaste!
