Description: Professional preparation of a large Devonian Phacops trilobite of the Hamar L'Aghdad Limestone of Issoumour, Morocco with perfect compound eyes. The compound eyes of this specimen are finely prepped allowing you to count each of the lenses of the compound eyes. This one is outstretched and nicely situated on a 5 inch piece of dark gray matrix. Matrix has been prepped down to provide a striking light gray outlining the trilobite. Trilobite is about 2.75 inches from head to tail. Natural color with no restoration. Slight damage on the nose s can be seen in the photo. The cube is for size perspective as it measures 1 cm.
