Description: You are bidding on a Large, Russian American, Poster Announcing a Big, High Class Party to be held at the New York City Commodore Hotel.. The party was put on by some Russian-American Group and it's circa 1920 or earlier from what I can gather.. The graphics appear to be Woodblock Prints and the poster is printed in Red & Blue on very heavy white newsprint paper.. Opened up the poster measures 24 & 3/4 by 17 inches but it is only printed on half of the paper.. The Poster is in Excellent Condition with some paper toning due to age and low grade newspaper type paper.. The Colors are bright. Two small words have been cut out near the bottom buy the original people posting the poster, so I don't consider this a defect.. I don't know a whole lot about this poster or the group that published it, so, if anyone can tell me more about it please do.. What I DO know is that it is very Early, Attractive, Historic and should appeal to those Russian-American's out there.. Have Questions? I'd love to answer them, so, ask away..
