This piece has a Cream Background with a Gray Band and Pink - Brown Flowers. This Piece is Trimmed in Platinum. This pattern was Discontinued and was only in Production from 1978 - 1992. The History of Lenox Lenox China as it is known today was founded by Walter Scott Lenox & Jonathan Coxon Sr. as the "Ceramic Art Company" in 1889 in Trenton, New Jersey. Today Lenox is the only major producer of fine china in the United States & is known for the absolute uniformity of its glaze, its translucency, it's perfectly applied design, its true & consistent color & its durability. Today Lenox China products are still handcrafted to the same high standard of perfection set by the company's founder in the 1800's.
