Description: Leptospermum 'Copper Glow' Seeds (Copper-Leaved Tea Tree) A round shrub or small tree to 10' tall and 8' wide, with small, copper-colored leaves. The 3/4" flowers are white and contrast perfectly with the dark foliage, making a distinctive and interesting garden subject. Probably a form of L. polygalifolium, this attractive shrub will accept most soils, in full sun to shade, with best color and flowering in sun. The plants need good moisture while young, but will accept short periods of drought when mature. Also suitable for using as screens and hedges, the shrubs may easily be pruned and shaped. As these seeds are open pollenated, a few of the seedlings might leaf-out dark green - cull out the green ones, reserving only those which show the copper coloration. Hardy zones 9 and above, tolerating the occasional hard frost without damage. One packet contains 30+ freshly harvested seeds. Detailed sowing instructions are included. Please note: The seeds of this variety are small and thread-like. They are fresh and viable - success in their germination is up to you - and will be achieved by carefully following the instructions included with your seeds. Sowing seeds requires cleanliness, practice and patience, and frequently have specific requirements and pretreatments. There is a learning curve. I say this because people generally blame the seeds or the seller for a failure in germination, when, in actuality, it is generally because of the one doing the sowing... With that said, I wish you the best of luck with the seeds, and if you have any questions with getting them started, please feel free to contact me. I've been growing and collecting rare and exotic plants for over 45 years and sowing seeds has been a specialty. Most of the trees and shrubs that are growing in my garden have been started from seeds; there is something very satisfying about that. All photos are of plants in my own collection - unless stated otherwise. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - SORRY - I ONLY SHIP TO THE US. I do combine shipping for multiple items - please request a new shipping total before checking out. Thank you! Upon arrival of the seeds/cutting/plant, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. I want you to be happy with your purchase and to have the greatest success in its cultivation! Thank you for checking out my ebay offerings. Robert
